Web design involves many business disciplines of a type of design and color. The color is particularly important as it gives the first impression to the user. the right colors can create a good user experience, while the colors may inappropriate have a negative impact.
To build a great website, the designer has to know what affects the colors can have on people. unconsciously, people reacts to the colors and associate them with different feelings and emotions.
The colors will not only bring the emotions and feelings that might influence how a site perceived, but can also be cleverly used to indicate to users in the direction of specific bits of your site.
Every color imaginable can be used on the web these days, which means that choosing the right colors can be overwhelming. here's a quick summary of how some colors provoke certain reactions.
Green is related to the environment, peace and jealousy. It is also a very relaxing color and it's nice to use for calming effect.
The white color evokes feelings of purity, simplicity, emptiness and innocence. if used as main color of a website, create a clean environment and simple.
Blue is more associated with corporate websites, as it is a strong color that is associated with confidence, coldness, depression, water and peace.
Ebony can be linked to death, mourning, power and style. many heavy rock bands use black as main color, because of their links with death and wrong.
yellow summons visions of summer, joy and optimism. is a color that can be overwhelming and if used along with black, creates a sense of alert.
As yellow, red is a color that is associated with love, sex and energy. it may also be higher if more power to use although it is wonderful to attract attention.
Orange is a color associated with vitality, heat, fire and energy. A color therapy, could be used in designing web sites, to signify the opening.
Color purple is not very popular in web site design, as it is considered very feminine and can give the impression of arrogance, wealth, luxury and indulgence.
Brown, especially the lighter end of the spectrum can have an effect soothing. Beige is also a popular color in the design for the web, as it gives an earthy and relaxed feel. could also mean tradition, poverty and nature.
Grey can be linked to refinement, innovation and the future. The lighter side is similar to white because it is a fabulous color for use in the context a website to create a sense of space and modernism.
Knowing the psychology of color can give website designers an advantage when is being designed for a client. just knowing what colors can create effects that make a successful website. There is nothing worse than creating a site that looks fantastic It is not connected with the end user. the use of color in an intelligent way to create the illusion, contrast and balance can change a boring place in a large.
