Total physical memory is used when not running.?
My computer has been acting slow since upgrade to Vista. I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bits. When I open the Task Manager and go to performance in physical memory, I have a total of 2046. Around 1410 is cached, and about 15 are free but sometimes vary even number. I rebooted and opened Task Manager quickly, and I see that has more than 1000 free, but gradually a number of exchanges is caching, and eventually, all my "free" physical memory is drained by the Cache. Do I have something running that I do not know? I scanned for viruses, and I have none. It's just one of the standard Vista problems?
Before you loaded Vista you should have done a compatibility test to see if the team was a good system to run the program. Within the test there would have been a number of elements that have marked many elements that need to change or update only to run the basic program. There are many people who have a new system that is having problems with a Vista ready computer. Theirs is an exception. It could be a good idea to see if they can remake the team for the original operating system I had before upgrading. The information and ads do not always make great team work better with all the flashing things fresh show on television.
