Supercard DS ONEi Setup Guide Firmware Upgrade and Driver Installation

The complete and step-by-step idiot’s guide for updating Supercard DSONEi Firmware Fix Version 1.1 For DSi Firmware 1.4E, 1.4J, 1.4U, 1.4A & 1.4X

 

Important: please make sure that your DSi is fully charged or powered to the wall to ensure the update to go through without interuption.

The complete and step-by-step idiot’s guide to update the firmware:

• Download the firmware version 1.1 (English Version)  from here .
• Unzip the file and place the unzipped file updateen.bin under the root folder of the microSD.
• Plug in the microSD into the DSONEi.
• Plug in the DSONEi into the Firmware Writer.
• Plug in the Firmware Writer into the USB port of your PC.

• The LED light on the Firmware Writer will start flashing in RED, meaning that the update is in process. Do not unplug the firmware writer until the LED light stops flashing.

• The update process takes about 8 minutes.
• Once the LED light turns GREEN, it means that the update is completed. The Supercard Icon has been changed to that of Star Wars Lethal Alliance Ubisoft.

• If the LED light turns RED (without flashing), it means the update is unsuccessful. Please repeat the whole process from step 1.

Step-by-step guide to install and setup the Supercard DSONEi / DS Onei for Nintendo DS Lite and DSi with the latest Driver / Kernel / Firmware:

1.  Download the latest driver/kernel/firmware from:
a)  The official website: http://eng.supercard.sc/download.htm
b)  Our UK server here – it is faster than the official website

2.  Before copying the driver/kernel to the microSD, please format your microSD on your PC. This is to remove all the data on the memory card.
a)  After inserting the microSD into the card reader, go to My Computer.
b)  Right click the driver representing the microSD memory card.
c)  Choose Format

 

d)  Click Start to format the memory card

 

3.      Unzip the file downloaded (using Winrar) on your PC
a)  Unzip the driver/kernel/firmware file.
b)  Winrar can be downloaded from www.download.com by searching for Winrar at the Search.

c)  Select and copy all the unzipped files.

4.        Copy the unzipped files to the microSD memory card

5.      Copy your own files, including music, movies, pictures and homebrew games to the microSD memory card

6.      Plug in the microSD to the Acekard.When inserting or changing carts on slot-1, switch off the DS, insert in the cart and then start the DS.

Q: What’s the function of the Firmware writer?

A: Only use in this situation: If the software of console upgraded and do not recognize DSONEi. Firmware writer can renew the firmware of DSONEi. And DSONEi can work again.

Q: How to use Firmware writer?

A: Please download Newest Firmware from http://eng.supercard.sc. Copy downloaded firmware to microSD insert into DSONEi then insert into Firmware writer then into USB port for power supply and operation. No extra software need, the Firmware writer will renew the firmware of DSONEi automatic. 8 Mins. needed. Flashing light mean renew in progress. Green light mean renew finished. Red light mean renew failed. If failed, please repeat the progress.

 

SUPERCARD DS(ONE) REALTIME SAVE

NDS RealTime Save

The ONLY one which support RealTime Save. Save & Load Anytime, Anywhere, Anyway. Only DSONE has this function.

The request of using RealTime Save function:
1. DSONE OS v3.0 and Up
2. Should be run in patch mode. And select the “Real Time Save” option.
3. How to enable RealTime Save function:
Click “SET PATCH” from File Information window or press hotkey L+X

Select “Enable Patch” and “Real Time Save” option.

Hotkey for RealTime Save function in the game:
L+R+UP+SELECT
How to use RealTime Save function in the game:
1. Enable the RealTime Save function.
Note: The first time to run a game with RealTime Save function need more time to load. Because sysem need time to create a RealTime Save file.
2. Press Hotkey L+R+UP+SELECT to enter RealTime Save menu
Note: recommend PAUSE the game first and then enter RealTime Save menu

3. Select SAVE or LOAD the game.
Note: If there is a noise after loading, please PAUSE and RESUME to avoid it.

DS ONE use special cheat code file *.scc, player can use software convert *.cht to *.scc easily, so play can add, modify and delete the cheat code by themself. And this convert software also support *.cht file with create by Emu-Cheat. It’s very easy to make your own cheat code file by yourself.

Q:How to create *.cht cheat code file?
A:Please use Emu-Cheat software to creat *.cht file, Or download the *.cht file from internet directly.

Q:How to convert *.cht to *.scc?
A:

• 1. Run cht2supercardcheat.exe
• 2. Click “Make Cheat” button.
• 3. Select the .CHT file which you want to convert.

  How to use *.scc cheat code file?
  A:There are two methods:

• 1. If the ROM in the database. You can rename *.scc to the ROM serie s runber, and put the *.scc to scshellcheat.
  Example: If you have a ROM “0061 – Bomberman (U)” which in the patch database, you can rename the .scc file to 0061.scc and put it into scschellcheat folder.
• 2. If there is a new ROM not in the database, You should rename the *.scc file name to match the ROM name. And put the ROM and *.scc in the same folder.
  Example: If you hava a ROM “1060 – SuperMan” which is not in the patch database, you can rename the *.scc file to “1060 – SuperMan.scc”, and put it with the ROM file together.

How to enable RealTime Save function: Click “MULTISAVER” from File Information window, press X to open the window A Multi-Save menu list below. ADD: Add a save slot, upto 4 save slots. Note: Need 5 seconds to create a save slot file. DEFAULT: Set a save slot as a default, system will save & load from default slot automaticly DEL: Delete a save slot. COPY: Copy a slot to others. How to use this Multi-Save function? Some games have three built-in save slot, that’s good. But some games have only one built-in save slot, such as “Lost in Blue”. This function can help you have more extra save slots for the game which has only one built-in save.
