Internal CD / DVD does not appear in My Computer?
Hi, I have a Toshiba Satellite A60 for over 3 years, and this problem has only begun to occur. More and more often now, when I'm trying to install the software I get a D: is not accessible message (D: is my DVD drive). When I can see in My Computer, the drive is not found. I have all updated drivers for this drive, as I restore my PC to factory settings. Can anyone help? As this is becoming a nuisance now.
There are no guarantees, but try this … 1) Right click on My Computer 2) Click Properties 3) Click on the tab Hardware 4) Click Device Manager 5) Find DVD / CD-ROM and double click 6) Click on the Unit 7) Click right 
Click on remove and confirm 9) completely off the computer 10) on and reboot If this does not work, the drive may be going wrong Good luck!
