Is this memory increase going to be noticeable and good?
I currently have 256 MB of RAM in my computer.
I just purchased 1 GB (2x512MB) online.
I use my computer for internet surfing, picture editing, iTunes, and video editing mostly.
Is this increase in memory going to be significant, or help at all?
Thanks guys, and I only have two slots and the computer details say it can only hold up to One Gig.
Also, will My Photo editing programs run smoothly? And Will multi tasking be possible?
You will definitely notice a difference. Your computer will also boot faster. You may be able to use the 256MB and 1GB together if you have enough slots. Put the 2 new memory sticks in firs and then the existing one. If teh machine does not boot, take the old stick out and restart teh computer.
