How can I receive CRITICAL UPDATES…can’t afford new computer and Vista software?!?
Is there any way to get CRITICAL UPDATES from another source after Microsoft stops supporting my old WINDOWS 98 software? Thank you for any assistance you can give me !
I doubt if you will be able to find Critical Updates for Windows 98 or any other Microsoft platform prior to Windows XP.
I used to run Windows 2000 Server, because it was the very best platform, that Microsoft had. Only because it was built in Australia for Microsoft and did not require all the critical updates like all the other platforms. When they stopped supporting critical updates, I was forced to switch back to Windows XP Pro.
If you have a Pentium 4 processor with atleast 516MB of memory and can save or come up with about $100.00 you can obtain a Microsoft Windows XP Home with the purchase of any small item from a computer store. They will sell you the platform under a OEM Contract.
