It would be RAM and better internal hardrive increase the speed of my computer?
E300 I have a Fujitsu Siemens computer running Windows XP and is incredibly slow. my RAM is 248MB and the hardrive is 37.2GB if I can buy 2 GB of RAM (the maximum my computer can hold) and a larger envelope 500GB hardrive large that would make my computer ran faster when I downloaded a bunch of programs? my computer: Fujitsu Siemens e300 motherboard that need to be compatible with 2 GB i need for my computer?
A lot of people here do not know what there talking about …. pc optimizers !!!!! REALLY?? Speaking Seriously, the PC sounds old … 5 years maybe? XP will fight with nothing to 512 MB of memory so yes the more you have, the better. Go to www.crucial.com and use the system Scanner existence. that will tell you exactly what RAM you can have and how much. Then take note of it and shop around for the best price. As to a hard drive … I can not really increase the speed, just increase the storage capacity. By all means do so, 37GB isn't much these days and can be filled with programs, games, media, etc. files. Personally I'd get as much memory as possible, a bigger hard drive. then I would reinstall Windows (If you have an installation disk) in 37GB hard drive that already exist. Just to give you a clean installation. Then I parrtition the new drive and try to save all my files on that ….. leaving the 37GB hard driver for windows and system files
