Fiber Optic Fusion Splicer Features Quick Splicing Time
Toronto, Canada – GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) has launched an optical fusion splicer which is commonly used for splicing dispersion shifted, non-zero dispersion shifted and erbium doped fibers. It provides multi fusion program selections and automatic detection of the optical fiber end face. It also features simultaneous observation of X and Y axial optical fiber, digital color display and low fusion power consumption. This optical fusion splicer, model 17A, features the advantages of small size, light weight, ease of use and a large memory capacity for storing up to 8000 groups of sequential results. It also automatically calibrates fusion parameters adjusting to environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity and pressure using its built-in sensors. This well-designed optical fusion splicer offers both automatic and manual operating modes for selection. The splicer is equipped with an RS232 communication interface for data transmission to a computer for storage, printing and further analysis.
