My friend recently stolen identity. I know that his girlfriend had spyware installed on your computer to he could control his behavior and see their passwords (creepy, I know .. I am supporting a break). My question is this, I know that spyware can cause identity theft, so did the download of software has nothing to do with their identity from being stolen? He called saying that their credit card information used in New York, where he lives in Vermont.
