Virus removal/protection software?

I am having massive problems with my computer, and i cant seem to fix the problem, i have loads of anti virus software i have got from the internet, but none of it seems to actually fix anything, it either doesn’t find anything, or it finds loads of viruses but doesn’t really do anything about them.
When i browse the internet almost every link i click re-directs me to somewhere else.
I have pc tools, avira antivir, malwarebytes, super antispyware, trend micro, registry mechanic, plus a whole hep of others, but none of them seem to do anything, my problems are just getting worse every day.
I need a downloadable free program that will actually clean my computer, get rid of all the spyware adaware trojans root kits malware etc everything,
and im not to great with computers so something basic that is easy to understand would be best.
What can people recommend that will actually clean my computer once and for all?

That right there sounds like you have multiple “Adware” or “Greyware” infections. These programs usually issue fake alerts and then urge you to purchase their generally worthless solution to an nonexistant problem.

I would highly recommend that you stick to one or two Anti-Virus/Spyware solutions. When you have more than one Anti-Virus application running it can cause MAJOR problems. Not only will they consume a MASSIVE ammount of system resources, but they tend to interact with eachother and may cause system instability.

Try one of these for Anti-Virus: Avir or AVG Free

And try this for Anti-Spyware: Spybot Search and Destroy.

A combination of the above programs is generally enough to protect most users while using minimal resources. All of them are safe, free and easy to use. Goodluck!
