Is that safety to use public computer to do tax return?

I am in Australia and I received my PAYG last week, I downloaded the software from ATO site but I couldn’t install it because of some problem in my computer. I may use the computer in my uni, but I wonder the security of the computer there. Actually, I did the tax return before, I know the information i need to type in. Are those information very important? If you were me, will u do it by using public computer?

You should always be careful when using public computers. I would not use a public computer to complete a tax return because of all the personal information you need to enter.

First, you do not know if the public computer is using security software. Second, any installed security software might have been compromised by a previous user. Third, there are keystoke loggers (a device that can be installed on a computer) that will record every keystroke typed on the computer. The person who installed the device would later comeback to retrieve the device and have all of your personal information.
