Troubleshooting the situation when you can not open the file from the company Intuit QuickBooks Pro 2010

If you are a user of Intuit QuickBooks, then sometimes you must have faced a few situations where not to open a company file. These situations can always arise due to various issues, such as infections viruses, abrupt or unplanned shutdown of the system, errors in the current version of QuickBooks, blackouts, etc. You should investigate the problem and try to repair QuickBooks file appropriate methods. Cause:
These problems opening company file may occur due to following reasons:

The company file is in the media external.
The computer that will open the company file refers to a mapped drive letter instead of using universal naming convention (UNC) to access the drive that stores the company file.
You may be using the BitDefender software, which could be blocking communication between computers on the network.
The permission settings can not be correct for the folder containing the file or data hosting company.

Resolution:
For the reasons mentioned, there are four different methods you can use to QuickBooks recovery. These methods are:

Solution 1: If the file is on an external, then copy the file on the system local or QuickBooks server on the network. Now, open QuickBooks and try to open the company file.
Solution 2: You should try to open the company file navigation to your location. This can be done using the following steps:
Open QuickBooks.
Click File | Open or Restore Company.
Click "Open a company file 'and' Next '.
Go to the location where you store the company file and select it.
Click "Open" to open the company file.
Solution 3: If the software is distributed is causing problems, then you should temporarily disable or uninstall the software to see if the company file is open now or not.
Solution 4: You should check and correct folder permissions company file to open properly.

These methods should be able to open the company file. However, if not open then you should use software other manufacturers to repair QuickBooks file. These tools are read-only non-destructive in nature that do not overwrite the existing file.
