Mapping SQL object: Advantages and Disadvantages

When it comes to software development, there are many concepts and programming methods that come to the fore, including mapping SQL objects.

Mapping SQL objects, also known as object-relational mapping is a programming method that links concepts Object-oriented database language SQL, so the creation of a virtual object database. Programming objects represent real world objects in the development software. For example, if an address book containing a list of people along with their telephone numbers, name of people, the list of addresses and phone numbers would be represented by a person object with instance variables and fields (slots) to store data. But when it's time to save data in permanent storage, programmers choose a persistent object store, which could be any object placed and retrieved later. SQL mapping object is used to implement this approach.
