New WordPress Plugin: This Day In History

Every time I try to use a USB flash drive in my computer tries to load the software, but can not … Why?

I have Windows XP, it did work once, but not now. When connecting the USB storage device USB DISK appears and locate the software, but can not find. It is an error (Code 24) or can not find the drivers. The hardware will come with a disc, but the drivers are for Windows 98 and Windows XP should work automatically according to information I've read. So how I can make this work again?? I've looked at the unit used for pop-up (the My Computer folder) is not there and say it is not work by not having the drivers I wonder how to get the drivers again and perhaps could have happened to make them disappear in the first place??

First, try another USB slot – on the back maybe … Second, try another WinXP computer to see if there up there. That may rule that the device is wrong. Other than that, when I have logged in, click on My Computer and select Properties. Click the Hardware tab and then click the Device Manager button. Scroll down to find the club where he is – probably a yellow circle with a! therein. Click on it and then click Uninstall. It should disappear. Then I go to Windows Update and check for updates each and every one – Pre SP2 does not recognize USB 2.0. Therefore, you may need to reapply SP2. That's all I can think of right now.
