is it sooo difficult companies to provide a work permit?
hi i am italian and my girlfriend is canadian (Lethbridge-Calgary, AB). i would like to find a job there in spring..i am a computer programmer/software developer. i think there will be many chances for this kind of job, but i am foreigner so that i will need a visa, a work permit. do you know if companies provide it, or if it is soooooo difficult?
how could i do to get a work permit (a part to marry my girlfriend….)?

Getting a work permit can be difficult. Most companies have a limit on the number of visas that they can sponsor. This means there are only so many available and the hiring for them is very competitive. Plus, most of the positions are filled with foreigners who are already residing in Canada, since they’re more readily available for things like interviews.
You best bet is to attend school in Canada, say for an advanced degree. This will get you into the country, give you a chance to network and meet people, and make you a more viable candidate for future hirings.
