How do I get into the video game business? Is Westwood College’s program worth it (or similar programs)?
I really want to be a game developer, whether I’m a software developer or a story/cinematic writer. I’m a good writer, and I have a solid analytical background in logic and Algebra. I am not intimidated by math or the idea of programming, but I am not sure I’d enjoy a traditional computer science baccalaureate program. Westwood College (in Denver) pitches a compelling program, but I just don’t have the knowledge required to make an informed decision. Any game developers out there that can help me with this? Any Westwood College (or similar program) graduates who have succeeded in the gaming industry have some advice?
