Blue screen while playing the Sims 3?
I have had the Sims 3 for several weeks and have never had any problems while playing, plus it is sometimes slow and stop due to an error by Microsoft: Windows Home Finder has stopped working .. " dialog box appeared, that I can handle. But yesterday, while playing, was on my birthday baby sim. Shortly after that age, the blue screen error came on my computer and I had to reboot to stop the dumping of physical memory. I tried again, and shortly after my old sim, did it again. I had my flash drive in (for ReadyBoost) both of these times. So today, tried it again without my flash drive, but still blue screen error came up. Any suggestions? I'll Features team after me.
Sounds like you do not have enough RAM. I had a similar problem which could not run anything while playing the sims 2 or 3, since only eat so much memory. My suggestion is to get more RAM. Max it out if you can (I have 4 gigs in my comp). This should fix the problem and the game will run faster.
