Memory upgrade question for Dell 2350 desktop?
I have to get some new RAM for my dad's computer, looking at the memory of this, says its PC2100 and PC3200 says some of what is the difference? As to the Dell website for the 2350, seems the most from your machine ram is only 1 g according to the website of Dell, the Dell Web site also says that the RAM should be PC2100, but in a new Easter egg hunt for memory search details for dell 2350 came with PC3200. If I get a value of g of PC3200 is still working on your machine?
You deal with DDR 1 "of memory, that comes in speeds of PC1600, PC2100, PC2700 and PC3200. If Dell says PC2100 is the speed memory to get, that would mean that the motherboard only supports speeds up to 2100. But you can, and you must use PC3200 memory because it is the most widely available and more likely, and will work on motherboards that only support speeds up to 2100.
