"I can install Windows 7 with Windows Vista on the same computer?
I have a laptop that has 250 GB of storage and 4 GB of memory. Came with Vista. I like to add Windows 7, because 1) my mom used to Vista and do not want to change and 2) I would like to know about Windows 7. I can do this? And more specifically, can the new partition needed for the '7 'is created without deleting the partition that Vista is on? Thanks
7 has Some nice additions to Vista (and actually works in Vista works a bit sorta), but the desktop looks the same. Take your mother to Best Buy and let them play with a Installation of Windows 7 and see if she thinks she has a problem getting used to it. (She probably will not.) Yes, not only to upgrade to 7. It is quite simple (if time consuming).
