Windows 7 comes to save the day?
Hi, I bought an old small form factor compaq evo excess of last year, and I'm fine with it. I read on a web page, Windows 7 works really well with old computers (my evo refurbised, the identification of 03 mean?). my computer has 2 GB of RAM, 2 40 GB hard drives, but the video card memory is only 64. i wanted to run a low-power PC, but obviously I can not get a new card video with that (my power supply is 175: 0). So I want to upgrade my powersupply at some point, it is a Compaq EVO D510 SFF, but I have no idea what needed. Micro ATX, ATX, everyone was confused. thanks:) I http://www.pacificgeek.com/productimages/xl/D510SFF-4R.jpg http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/166502/windows_7_beats_snow_leopard_on_older_hardware_support.html really really perfer not to go into the motherboard and the like. I just intended to get a PCI video card, maybe 128 or 256 MB?
I have Windows 7 (86) running on a Dell D610 laptop with 2 GB of RAM and a 1.87 GHz Pentium M processor I think it would be able to work as well.
