The best known form of computer memory is RAM. Even children school know these initial representing random access memory. This is a volatile form of memory. Translated to laymen's terms, simply means volatile temporary. There is a long-term memory and would be better compared to our own capacity for short-term memory. Volatile memory is sometimes known as dynamic as it can change and modify. Non-volatile forms that sometimes are referred to as static memory. Can be stored and is stable. The computer memory in this capacity indicates that it is temporary in nature. A computer that has a memory as we have short memories and long term. In essence, the computer and memory are designed in a manner reminiscent of the human brain.
What we have to remember about computers is that it is also important to know that There are several types of memory, both volatile and nonvolatile forms thereof. Include other types of computer memory: RAM (dynamic and static), ROM, cache, flash, virtual video, and the BIOS. There are also memory cards. Each type of memory has specific purposes and functions and not all computers have all forms of memory. This is what makes the performance of each team is only as our brain is what makes us unique.
It is also important to realize computer memory that is not limited to desktops and laptops. The various types commonly associated with computers found in many electronic components we use every day. Not all types are used in all electronic devices, but each type found in them the same. Some of these electronic products include cell phones, PDAs (personal data assistants), and radios. Even televisions and VCR uses the computer's memory.
The device again commonly known address used by the computer's memory for children is the game console in the currently popular systems. While adults play these exciting entertainment and, adolescents and children know better. The majority of children do not realize is that the game "remembers" its end point from a previous session of play due to the capacity of its memory. Without memory, game console or even remember what game to play!
Computer memory is the ability of a computing device to remember or run an application that makes it work the way you expect it to work when you turn it on. Is different from the electric because it is a trend that, basically, in simplistic terms, it raises the electronic device, computer to use. Computer memory makes the devices we use come to life, or as close to life as the technology can achieve.
