DIY tips to increase your computers memory
If you need to increase the memory capacity of your computer has the option of doing it yourself. Follow these steps:
1) Make sure your computer is off the network and that all power cords and other cables are disconnected.

4) It is necessary to identify the location of the memory card slots. These can be identified as typically 3 or 4 slots together. These are commonly called memory modules Dual Inline (DIMM). But consult your owner's manual to confirm this.
5) If you have an old memory card to be replaced then Remove that first. Depending on the model of your computer you can have the clips on each side of the memory slots. Are you sure the memory card so you need to unlock these first clips. It is less complicated to insert a new card that all you have to do is insert the new card in one of the empty slots. To determine if you are using the correct size for your computer memory always consult your user manual first.
6) When you have purchased your new card memory carefully removed from its packaging. Carefully hold the cards by the edges. Align with the slot and carefully insert the memory card into the slot. If the slot has a safety lock system, then push the clips back to secure the card.
7) When the new card is secured in place to make a final check to ensure that no cables have been disconnected or no longer screws into your computer. Once your check made screw back cover computer with a screwdriver.
Connect the equipment into the mains and reconnect all power cords and cables, hardware and on again. His desktop hardware identifies that the memory is installed.
