Why is my computer's memory so full?
So I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with 110gb of memory. I know I have like 20 GB in games in it, but when the other 80GB go? Is Vista hogging all my memory? It says I only 10gb left on my computer!
There are websites you can use to work out where the storage memory is going. I had a similar problem with my laptop, so I used the "Disk Defragmenter Drive ", its generally low, all programs (Start menu), accessories (top), then system tools. This will tell you how much space you have and the remaining amount. When its open when you click "analyze" on the bottom, then "Defragment." The team will eqivalent to tidy up your room. not remove all data so that everything will remain in the place where you left off. Another option is "Disk Cleanup" is also in the same place as the disk defragmenter and compress old files and stuff like that, goes to work at the same time it is doing other things in the background. Whild the disk defragmenter is better to leave the team. It will show you how much space you can create and delete temporary Internet files and compression some files and stuff like that.
