How to find the speed of RAM in the laptop?

I saw a new laptop model number G550 Lenovo G550-59-no 032586.I check the speed of memory in the BIOS menu, the computer dxdiag (DirectX diagnostic tool), etc. at any place mentioned in the report = 3072MB (3 GB). But I couldnot find if it is DDR2 or DDR3 (1066MHz speed)? Showroom owner saying that it is DDR3. But I want to confirm to see on the laptop only. Is there another way?
