Is trying to recycle gold from old memory and CPU is worth?
I have wanted to start to recycle gold and other precious metals from computer memory old CPUs, but i was not sure whether it was worth it. I wondered if it was profitable and I also wonder what are the best for recycling with the content more gold. Thanks so much to someone who can help me with this.
I work in the recycling industry and I can telll making specialized facilities for recycling components. The "waste" products left after recyclying precious metals is conducted in an environmentally friendly way as Many components are toxic, and found in PCB (printed circuit boards. You need to find a specialist reprocessor of these, as a starting point and this certainly affect their profit margins. Most processors of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and try to scrap and have established facilities to meet the new regulations. My advice is to approach a metal is'nt reporcessor dealing with WEEE and develop a business plan with them to increase their businesses and create your own. Maybe consider a current reprocessor as a student doing a thesis and get some information they need. All the best in your efforts.
