Computer Rebuilding Process?
Okay, So these are the things wrong with my computer:
1. It’s slow as you know what.
2. It has a projection screen (still)
3. It has a huge, ugly dell case
4. the fan makes this horrible noise non stop
5. the drive has kicked the bucket
This is what I want to do, courtesy of newegg.com
1. increase memory (all of the music is the cause of it running slow)
2. transfer everything inside of my dell case to a new case
3. buy a new fan
4. a new monitor
5. a new case
6. a new cd-dvd burner drive
I want it to be super fast and have a lot of memory and all ofthisse other things, but I don’t want to buy the wrong sized case. I also don’t have a lot of money. At all. The memory and the drive are most important. can someone go on new egg and “shop for me”? lol. Send me the links so that i can see the products.
Also, how do I find the case size of my current case?
You need to find out what motherboard you have and then find a case that is specifically made to allow you to attach that board. As far as memory, you can only max it out to what the spec’s say and nothing more.
Until you know what type of motherboard you have its impossible to find what you need. Your honestly better off starting from scratch in my opinion. Junk the one you got and start over.
